The blanket is suitable for girls or boys alike, it's crocheted in neutral colors, but you can make it your own by choosing your own custom color palette.

Made with double knit (light worsted) yarn, this blanket is warm and soft, but light in weight, perfect for babies of all sizes and ages.

CROCHET LEVEL: Advanced Beginner / Intermediate

FORMAT:

PDF file, pattern written row by row in US terms with side notes and photo tutorials where needed. All special stitches are explained so you can easily follow and complete the pattern.

SIZES:

Using the yarn and hook size suggested in this pattern will create a lovey 46cm by 46cm in size, but the pattern is explained in such a way that you can make it as big or small as you like.

GAUGE: Gauge is not important in the pattern and your finish size may vary depending on your tension and material used. A 10cm by 10cm swatch is 6 rows height and 15 stitches wide.

SKILLS: slip stitch, single crochet, double crochet, decrease, increase. All special stitches are explained in detail with photos. There is a video link provided in the file for the gingham pattern in the blanket.

NEEDED MATERIAL:

- 1 ball of double knit yarn each in dark brown, brown and cream
- safety doll eyes
- small quantities of stuffing for the eyes
- tapestry needle
- scissors and pins to pin the parts in place before sewing
